Zu Gast aus Südafrika: Erica Jacobs

Erica Jacobs is a strong woman from South Africa. She runs the "New World Foundation" (NWF) in Lavender Hill, a suburb of Cape Town. The NWF was founded in 1980 during apartheid.

Today, the foundation works in the areas of child and youth work, vocational training, psychosocial counseling, women's work and community work. We are delighted to welcome Erica Jacobs as a guest at the Friedenskirche.

She will talk to us about the situation in South Africa in general and the work of the NWF, in particular about the "Safe House", a new shelter for women and children.

The evening will be held in English. Admission is free.

The event is organized together with the Aktionszentrum 3. Welt / Weltladen Osnabrück and the partners in the Sharehaus Friedenskirche.
