The unmistakable and rich sound of the Uni Bigband epitomises the jazz of the last 60 years. The focus is on swing, Latin jazz, jazz-rock and funk in their own and existing arrangements of various jazz greats. In addition to the instrumental soloists, the band's individual style is enriched by singers. In April 2024, Jörg Niedderer took over the leadership of the band and has since celebrated concerts at the Blue Note and Alando Ballhaus in Osnabrück, among others.
