As part of the anniversary "375 Years of the Peace of Westphalia", the Department of Culture, Jubilee 2023 Team has initiated various collaborations with young people and young adults from Osnabrück.
16 students from Osnabrück's "In der Wüste" high school will provide media support for the anniversary year. The young people are creating contributions to various events. Whether texts, podcasts, photos or videos - the peace reporters are on the road in multimedia and report on the program from their very own perspective.

In the summer semester of 2023, Prof.in Dr. Lale Yildirim, in cooperation with the City of Osnabrück, will offer the project seminar "Digital Remembrance Culture. Shaping 375 Years of the Peace of Westphalia on Social Media" for students of the University of Osnabrück.
In the seminar, working teams and the approach of a participatory digital public history will develop different types and possibilities of Instagram posts that enable a present, participatory and critical commemoration and remembrance of the Peace of Westphalia with the inclusion of student perspectives. An exhibition is planned at the end of the semester.
